1. If someone I know experiences MAAD behaviours, I will assure them that as a teacher I am ready to listen to their concerns and help in any way I can and in full confidentiality. I will make sure that they are aware about possible courses of action they can take to prevent MAAD behaviours from happening or getting worse, such as turning to the MAAD Committee and/or department administrators for professional support.
2. In my role as a teacher, I will normalise speaking about zero tolerance to MAAD behaviours in the classroom from day 1 by integrating these issues in the syllabus both in terms of course policy and also in terms of topics/readings we discuss in class especially if the course relates to social/political/global studies.
